There are absolutely no outside shoes allowed in any EYBA gyms. Also no food or beverages, except water, are allowed in any EYBA gyms including Sherwood Park, Beaumont, Leduc, St Albert and Morinville Gyms. Please make sure that no players, siblings or any one else is running around the hallways or bouncing basketballs in the hallways of our schools. There has been issues with this over the last few weeks of games with these issues and gyms are being taken from EYBA due to a violation of the Joint Use Agreement. Please ensure that your own teams parents, spectators and fans are abiding by this rule. If any Community Director, Discipline Director, Executive Committee member or the Executive Director walks into a gym to find any team in violation of these rules the following discipline procedures will be followed. First offense is a warning to that team. Second offense is the team losing the game where the offense has taken place. The third offense for the same team will lead to removal of that team from the schedules. Please ensure all parents, players and spectators involved in EYBA follow these rules so we don't lose any more gyms. Thank you all for your help and ensuring that EYBA does not lose any more gyms. |
